Clarinet

Clarinet Basics is the book we start with. Don’t get the CD if learning on a C clarinet or Clarineo – you won’t be able to use it. Later you may need grade exam books and other music as below.

Grade Exam books come in three formats:

Instrumental part
Instrumental part+Piano accompaniment
Instrumental part+Piano accompaniment+CD

I have all the piano parts from grades 1-4, so you only need the instrumental part, unless you wish to buy the accompaniments as well or unless you would like the CD which can be useful but is more expensive. Other useful books are also shown.

The Razzamajazz books by Sarah Watts are great fun and very popular – jazzy playing with CD or piano!
